RJP has the opportunity to lead an activity at this year’s Health & Safety Fair!  We are looking for volunteers who might be interested in leading an activity focused on healthy fun – face painting, a table  game, creating a craft, or whatever creative idea you might have!

The Waldo County YMCA will be holding its Annual Family Friendly Health and Safety Fair on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10am-12pm.

The WCY is partnering with Belfast Public Health Nursing Association and Waldo County Community Action Partners as well as other safety vendors to continue our commitment to teaching healthy habits and offer resources for kids and families. We want to encourage physical and mental play and inspire a lifetime love of Healthy Living. WCY Family Friendly Health and Safety Fair is part of the YMCA Activate America, a national initiative designed to help children and adults discover and sustain healthier ways of life.

During the Family Friendly Health and Safety Fair, the WCY invites everyone young and old to join together and make a “play date” at the YMCA! As the leading nonprofit for strengthening community, the WCY holds this special event to bring families together to engage in fun, active movement and learn healthier habits that help them grow and thrive. Activities during this event are free and open to all.
