Amy Frankel, a PhD candidate in the UMaine Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program (IPhD), is conducting new research with formerly incarcerated adults. The purpose of the study is to better understand the reentry experiences and circumstances of formerly incarcerated adults. Results from the study will help inform best practices for state and local institutions, systems and service providers seeking ideal outcomes for individuals returning to communities, towns and neighborhoods in Maine.
If you live in Maine and would be willing to talk about your reentry experiences, you can get more information from the flyer below or by connecting through this link to see if you are eligible and interested.
Amy is a former social work intern at RJP Maine, and she has stayed involved as a volunteer. We are thrilled to see this important storytelling coming to life through her study.
